A video of former two division UFC champion Georges St-Pierre training his grappling is now taking the internet by storm. Within the clip, the French-Candian phenom can be seen looking smaller than ever.
Georges St-Pierre quickly entered the conversation as possibly one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time with his hefty title defense record as a UFC welterweight champion. Within the welterweight class, “Rush” would go on to fight some of the sport’s most talented and toughest opponents.
From Matt Hughes to Nick Diaz, St-Pierre has taken on the best. The fighter then took a lengthy hiatus from the sport after defending his title from Johny Hendrix, forcing the fighter to vacate the belt. Nearly four years later, the former champion returned. However, this time it was at a new weight class.
Now a middleweight, Georges St-Pierre went on to make his big octagon return against reigning champion Michael Bisping at UFC 217. St-Pierre ultimately earned a submission victory over the fighter.
However, St-Pierre’s title reign did not last long. After suffering a debilitating case of colitis, the fighter elected to vacate the UFC middleweight title. With all of that in mind, a video of the former two division champion back in training has now made its way into the internet.
Within the video above, St-Pierre can be seen looking small enough to be a lightweight. If the fighter is planning another run inside the octagon at a third weight class has yet to be determined.
