Longtime UFC commentating veteran Joe Rogan is an eclectically skilled individual. Rogan was a professional kickboxer for a short time, before moving on to other ventures.
Rogan earned a black belt in Taekwondo at a young age, leading to his short striking career. The individual would go on to cultivate a respected career in stand-up comedy, having created multiple successful televised specials.
Rogan then became a talented television host, landing a spot as the host for Fear Factor and eventually his own show Joe Rogan Questions Everything. However, the individual is perhaps most known for his position as a cage-side commentator for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Speaking on his popular podcast Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan recently offered his thoughts on the subject of headbutts. The strikes are illegal blows within the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion.
Still, Rogan believes that maybe shouldn’t be the case.
“Even to this day, I don’t mind headbutts.” Rogan said.
“It’s a legit technique.” He later continued. “Why is it okay to slam your elbow into someone’s face, but it’s not okay to slam your forehead into someone’s face?”
