Undefeated boxing phenom Floyd Mayweather Jr. snagged the attention of the mixed martial arts world when he earned a TKO victor over UFC megastar Conor McGregor inside the squared circle back in 2017. Now longtime UFC commentating veteran Joe Rogan has come forward with his thoughts on a possible rematch between the two fighters inside the octagon.
Shortly after defeating “Notorious,” Mayweather returned to retirement with a perfect boxing record of 50-0. That being said, the pugilist legend has since been voicing an interest in making a run inside the octagon.
UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley has even revealed that he will soon begin training “Money” Mayweather in the sport of mixed martial arts. Speaking on the possibility of Mayweather entering the UFC to take on McGregor, Joe Rogan recently offered some harsh criticism concerning the undefeated boxer.
As seen in the video above, Rogan explained that he does not believe Mayweather has much of a chance at all to take on “Notorious” inside the octagon.
“He wouldn’t just be screwed.” Rogan said. “That would be unfair to people that have been screwed. You would need a way more outrageous example. It’s not just getting screwed.”
