UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson and tough contender Khabib Nurmagomedov are set to throw down for the undisputed title in the main event of UFC 223. Now “The Eagle” has decided to predict precisely how he will defeat the interim title holder.
UFC 223 is set to go down April 7 inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The exciting night of fights will be featured live on pay-per-view.
Speaking at the recent UFC 223 media conference call, Khabib Nurmagomedov revealed how he believes he will defeat Ferguson.
“I’m going to give him a very strong left hook — left hook, he goes down and then I choke him.” Nurmagomedov said.
“So a rear-naked choke, that’s what he’s thinking?” Ferguson replied. “I’ve got something planned for your ass.”
However, Nurmagomedov retaliated “I’m going to give him very nice D’arce choke.”
