Rising UFC star Mackenzie Dern is just 10 days removed from her victorious UFC debut, and she’s already got her next fight lined up.
Taking the Donald Cerrone approach to her fighting career, Dern was stern on the fact that she wanted to return to the UFC’s Octagon immediately.
The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu world champion might be the underdog coming into her next UFC fight though, as she’s taking on TUF finalist Amanda Bobby Cooper in what will be just her second UFC fight.
Cooper represents one of the top up-and-comers in the UFC’s female strawweight division, and she will be a tough test for the one fight UFC veteran in Dern.
The two are slated to fight on the UFC’s UFC 224 fight card on May 12 card in Rio.
UFC 224 goes down live on pay-per-view and features a main event between Amanda Nunes and Raquel Pennington.
