UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway has decided to call out Brian Ortega over social media. Now the message is getting some attention over the internet.
Max Holloway was initially set to face off against former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar at UFC 222 on Saturday night, March 3. However, the title holder was forced to pull out of the exciting match up after suffering an injury.
Consequently, Edgar went on to face undefeated fighter Brian Ortega in the co-main event of UFC 222. While “The Answer” had never been finished in his career ahead of the event, Ortega managed to secure a knockout victory within the first round.
Directly after the fight, Max Holloway took to Twitter to call out Ortega by targeting upcoming pay-per-view event UFC 226. The event will take place July 7 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
