UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway has come forward with some thoughts of his own for top UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Holloway’s most recent loss was to none other than UFC superstar Conor McGregor. With that in mind, many fight fans are still hopeful for a rematch between “Notorious” and the reigning UFC featherweight champion.
Still, Holloway has other fighters on his mind. Speaking in a recent interview, as seen within the video below, Holloway revealed that he currently has UFC lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov in his sights.
Nurmagomedov is gearing up to face off against interim champion Tony Ferguson for the undisputed UFC lightweight title. That being said, Holloway is already eyeing the contender for a fight.
“Everyone seems to not be talking about Khabib.” Holloway said. “I want Khabib. To be the best, you have to beat the best. One of those guys is Khabib.”
