New Video Surfaces Of Khabib Losing An Amateur Fight, And It Made Him Cry

Tough UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov is gearing up to face off in his toughest match up to date. With that in mind, a video of the undefeated fighter suffering a tough loss in his amateur days has now made its way to the internet.

“The Eagle” is currently gearing up to face off against UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson. The two mixed martial arts warriors have been set to face off a few times now.

However, bad weight cuts and debilitating injuries have kept the fighters from ever meeting inside the octagon. Now Nurmagomedov and Ferguson are set to throw down for the undisputed UFC lightweight title at UFC 223.

The exciting live pay-per-view match up goes down April 7 inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Leading up to the highly anticipated match up, a video from Nurmagomedov’s amateur days is now getting fight fans’ attention.

Nurmagomedov’s chief coach at AKA Javier Mendez has previously claimed that Nurmagomedov has yet to lose a minute of any of his sparring rounds. Beyond that, “The Eagle” is undefeated in his mixed martial arts career.

However, Nurmagomedov was an amateur combat Sambo competitor before his MMA days. The martial art is Nurmagomedov primary skill set, which is used by the Russian military.

In the video above, Nurmagomedov can be seen facing off against Ibragim Magomedov in a Sambo match. However, “The Eagle” suffered a tough loss to his opponent in the end. While the fighter may be undefeated in his MMA career, Nurmagomedov has certainly suffered a debilitating loss as a competitor.

After losing the fight, Nurmagomedov dropped to his knees and wept. Check it out above.
