Ronda Rousey Reveals She’s Using Judo Moves, Not Pro-Wrestling In The WWE Ring

Former women’s UFC bantamweight champion and mixed martial arts trailblazer Ronda Rousey made her WWE professional wrestling debut earlier this year. Now the Judo Olympic medalist has come forward to reveal that she is using her Judo techniques over her professional wrestling skills inside the squared circle.

Ronda Rousey appeared on the latest edition of WWE’s Monday Night Raw to provide a showcase of her pro-wrestling skills and for the reveal of her first official match up. The fighter’s first Wrestlemania match up is now set to feature Ronda Rousey – Kurt Angle and team Triple-H and Stephanie McMahon.

Taking to Twitter, Ronda Rousey has decided to point out that her Judo skills were being showcased during the event, perhaps more so than her pro-wrestling.

The popular Ura Nage technique can be seen being performed within the video below, as well as given new life by Ronda Rousey under the WWE banner within the video above.

Ronda Rousey also performed a variation of the kata guruma technique during her recent showcase. The technique can be seen being used more traditionally within the video below, but appplied in a new light by Rousey in the WWE ring within the clip above.
