The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is hosting a series of exciting fight tonight, as UFC 222 is going down live on pay-per-view for fight fans worldwide. UFC 222 is taking place inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. on Saturday night, March 3, for fight fans.
Throwing down on the night’s main card, bantamweights Sean O’Malley and Andre Soukhamthath are going toe-to-toe for the Las Vegas crowd. Check out the UFC results from the entertaining bout down below.
The opening round fired off at a methodical pace, as both fighters looked to test the range and power of their opponent. Soukhamthath was hurt early in the fight, as O’Malley managed to dish out some tough leg kicks.
Later in the round, O’Malley rocked Soukhamthath with a flurry of punches and strikes that left Soukhamthath struggling against the fence. However, O’Malley was unable to get a finish before the sound of the bell.
Soukhamthath kicked off the second round with a vengeance. The fighter managed to get O’Malley to the canvas, leaving much of the round as a grappling exchange.
O’Malley managed to reveres the position in the final minute of the round, taking the back of his opponent. However, O’Malley was not able to get a finish before the sound of the bell.
O’Malley went full force in the final round, dishing out a series of strikes to his opponent. However, the fighter suffered an injury to his leg after landing a high kick to Soukhamthath.
Soukhamthath took the fighter to the canvas, finishing the round in a dominant position. This fight has gone the distance.
