UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is gearing up for one of the toughest match ups of his career. Now the fighter’s strategy for the upcoming bout has been revealed.
Tony Ferguson and tough division contender Khabib Nurmagomedov have been scheduled to throw down inside the octagon on a few occasions. However, the fighter’s have never made it toe-to-toe. After multiple missed weights and injuries, each fight has been disappointingly cancelled.
However, the two mixed martial arts phenoms are now set to throw down for the undisputed UFC lightweight belt at UFC 223. The live pay-per-view event will take place April 7 inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
