Top UFC Prospect In Trouble After Pretending To Pee All Over The UFC Octagon

UFC newcomer Israel Adesanya made his octagon debut at UFC 221 back in Feb. While Adesanya earned a second round TKO victory in his big debut, the fighter has since received some heat for his post-fight celebration.

After defeating Rob Wilkinson, the fighter pretended to urinated in the corner of the octagon. The event was being aired live on FOX Sports 1.

Speaking to FloCombat, Israel Adesanya offered some details on the situation.

“They told my manager that, ‘We handle a lot of sponsors, millions of dollars in sponsors. So for him to pretend to be with his d*ck out and shaking it after he pees as well or whatever, it’s not really a good look.’ For me, how I see it is, f**k, what are the sponsors worried about: Me pretending to whip an imaginary d*ck out and pee everywhere to mark my territory or just watching me just beat the f**k out of a dude? I don’t know what kind of game these sponsors are playing or whatever, but for me, I just have to make a statement. Any top dog would do it. My stench is still there. Whenever I get back into the cage, I’m sure I’ll smell it.”

Israel Adesanya is now set to face off against Marvin Vettori at UFC on FOX 29. The event will take place April 14 inside the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
