UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw has been looking to lock down a super fight against UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson for some time now. However, the highly anticipated super fight has since been taken off the table. Now heated rival and former champion Cody Garbrandt has decided to call out Dillashaw.
While “Mighty Mouse” and Dillashaw were initially in negotiations, Demetrious Johnson has since suffered an injury. UFC President Dana White has come forward to claim that the fight is no longer being negotiated and that Dillashaw will have to find a new opponent for his next match up.
Team Alpha Male warrior and former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt has since taken to social media to call out Dillashaw for a rematch. The two fighters first faced off at UFC 217.
Garbrandt seemingly dominated his opponent in the first round, rocking Dillashaw with some stunning strikes that nearly brought an end to the fight. However, Dillashaw returned for a TKO victory in the second round.
Taking to Instagram, Garbrandt is ready to take on the former teammate once again.
“If you have my number, come get this easy money then….”
