The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted another exciting night of fights over the weekend. Now a video of Israel Adesanya’s infamous shirt ripping moment from the event’s ceremonial weigh-ins is making its way around the internet.
This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion moved to Glendale, Arizona to host the highly anticipated fight card of UFC on FOX 29 inside the Gila River Arena. Rising mixed martial arts star Israel Adesanya competed on the night’s card.
The middleweight phenom went toe-to-toe with Marvin Vettori, ultimately earning a split decision victory over the fighter. However, there is a moment from before the exciting fight that is still getting the attention of fight fans.
Adesanya has a history of showing off to the crowd by trying to rip his shirt. Back at UFC 221, Adesanya decided to try and rip his shirt for the live audiance during the event’s ceremonial weigh-ins. However, the fighter barely managed to fray the shirt’s collar.
Well, Adesanya was at it again during the UFC on FOX 29 ceremonial weigh-ins. While the fighter made more progress this time around, it would appear that Adesanya still hasn’t quite gotten the hang of it.
