And Another One… UFC Loses Third Fight Of The Day Due To Injury

It would appear that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has lost yet another match up for one of the promotion’s fight cards. Now UFC Utica has also lost one of its fights.

Leonardo Santos was initially set to face off against Nik Lentz in a lightweight bout at UFC Fight Night 131. The event goes down June 1 inside the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, New York.

However, MMA Fighting has since reported that Santos has suffered an injury, forcing the fighter to cancel his upcoming match up.

This is coming off of the heels of UFC Fight Night 130 losing two bouts due to injuries.

It has been reported that UFC welterweight Gunnar Nelson has suffered an injury.

Consequently, the fighter has reportedly been removed from his co-main event match up against Neil Magny for the night’s card. UFC lightweight David Teymur has also taken to social media to reveal that his opponent Don Madge may be out of the event as well.

UFC Fight Night 130 is set to take place May 27 inside the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England.
