Artem Lobov Breaks Social Media Silence, For The First Time Since Conor McGregor Defended His Honor In Bus Attack

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor is now facing charges for an incident that left multiple individuals injured. The fracas was reportedly a retaliation on McGregor’s part to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s previous altercation with SBG Ireland’s Artem Lobov. Now Lobov has decided to break his social media silence.

On Thursday, April 5, “Notorious” and a large entourage made their way backstage of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The large group then allegedly attacked a bus filled with red corner fighters for UFC 223.

While Nurmagomedov was on the bus and is believed to have been the target, the fighter was not physically harmed in the fracas. Fighters Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg were, however, ultimately pulled from their respective UFC 223 fights due to injuries sustained during the fracas.

Artem Lobov was ultimately pulled from his UFC 223 fight for his alleged involvement in the incident, while McGregor is now facing misdemeanor assault charges and a felony criminal mischief charge.

While Lobov published messages over Instagram during his fight week leading up to UFC 223, the fighter has not posted to the social media platform since the recent fracas inside the Barclays Center. Now Lobov has decided to break that silence.
