The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is in Brooklyn, New York tonight for the promotion’s latest highly anticipated fight card. This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is hosting UFC 223 inside the Barclays Center.
Continuing the excellent night of fights, mixed martial arts warrior Bec Rawlings is throwing down with Ashlee Evans-Smith. Check out the UFC results from the intense match up down below.
The first round kicked off with a bang. Rawlings pummeled Evans-Smith with a series of well timed jabs. However, Rawling’s opponent did not back down. The first round went down on the feet, with Rawlings seemingly getting the better of her opponent in the striking.
Evans-Smith’s face began to show signs of damage in the second round, as Rawlings landed some brutal strikes. Evans-Smith and Rawlings kept it on the feet for another intense five minutes of striking.
The final round opened up at a similar pace, as the two mixed martial artists continued to hash it out from the feet. Rawlings seemingly landed the bigger shots between the two, pummeling her opponent with powerful counters and combinations.
However, the fighter was unable to get a finish before the sound of the bell.
