Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach to Conor McGregor, grappling ace Dillon Danis made his big mixed martial arts debut over the weekend. Now the fighter is already being discussed by one of the promotion’s top competitors.
Dillon Danis made his big MMA debut at Bellator 198 on Saturday, April 28. The fighter faced off against Kyle Walker, who was 2-3 in his fighting career at the time.
Danis handed the fighter his third consecutive submission loss for a swift first round finish. Later taking to Twitter, former Bellator MMA lightweight champion Michael Chandler decided to let his thoughts on the match up be known.
“Just catching up to #bellator198 @dillondanis said he was the ‘highest paid fighter in @BellatorMMA’ but I think he meant to say ‘most un-athletic fighter in Bellator’ and that was against a man with a losing record. #cringe #slow #sloth #bellator198”
