It’s a sad day for UFC fan’s in Chile, as they just lost their headliner in Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Volkan Oezdemir.
The fight between former UFC champion Shogun, and former UFC title challenger Volkan, was sure to deliver fireworks. However, according to reports, Oezdemir’s current charges for a felony level assault have prevented the fighter from leaving the country.
The UFC still plans to keep the fight intact, but move it to a later date.
No word on the UFC Fight Night’s plans for a replacement headliner.
