Former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor has taken over the world of mixed martial arts. Now the Irish native has come forward with his thoughts on what it will take to defeat him.
“Notorious” first shocked fight fans worldwide when he knocked out formerly dominant UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo in just 13 seconds. The fighter then made UFC history by finishing Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title, making McGregor the only fighter to ever simultaneously wield two UFC division belts.
Since then, McGregor has ventured into the world of boxing. For his professional boxing debut, “Notorious” went toe-to-toe with undefeated pugilist legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. in what would become one of the greatest selling pay-per-views of all time.
With all of that in mind, McGregor was caught in a former interview revealing what he believes it will take for someone to defeat him again inside the octagon. The Irish native then name dropped popular culture icon and martial arts legend Bruce Lee.
“You need to reincarnate Bruce Lee.” McGregor said. “That would be the only person you could bring in that could mimic me.”
