UFC superstar Conor McGregor may be facing criminal charges, but that is hardly stopping the former two-division champion from getting in a workout.
“Notorious” is set to return to court on June 14, following a fracas that took place in Brooklyn, New York. On April 5, McGregor lead a large entourage backstage of Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and entered one of the center’s loading docks.
There, the large group allegedly attacked a bus filled with red corner fighters for UFC 223. Multiple individuals were injured in the fracas, though it is believed Khabib Nurmagomedov was the target.
The Dagestani native had an altercation with SBG Ireland’s Artem Lobov, potentially leading to McGregor retaliating for the slight to his teammate. After turning himself in, “Notorious” is now facing three misdemeanor charges of assault and a felony charge of criminal mischief.
The former title holder has since made bail and has been permitted to travel internationally.
Taking to Instagram, the Irish native has posted a photo of himself back in the gym following the recent fracas. This time, “Notorious” has decided to try out a new workout approach.
The fighter stated, “Working outer strength building inner strength.” Check it out below:
