Now three days removed from the highly controversial attack on UFC 223, Conor McGregor’s camp has released a statement, confirming that the UFC lightweight world champion is ready for an immediate return to action.
Thursday, Conor McGregor was seen storming the UFC 223 media day event with a group of men. The target was UFC 223 headliner Khabib Nurmagomedov, and shit got real.
Now, in a break of their silence, McGregor’s manager Audie Attar has confirmed that his client wants to book his next fight immediately.
Here’s his statement:
“So much rumor and misinformation about my client, Conor McGregor. The matter is in the hands of law enforcement and I cannot really say more. Conor is a great father, a fiercely loyal friend, and one of the best athletes in the world. He looks forward to getting back to fighting as soon as possible.”
