It would appear that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has found an interest in former NFL defensive lineman Greg Hardy. The controversial football player is now set to make his big professional mixed martial arts debut.
Greg Hardy first made headlines back in 2014, when the player was arrested for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend. The domestic violence case was eventually dropped, but the player was quickly ostracized from the NFL over the incident.
Since then, Hardy has been training in mixed martial arts, having gone undefeated as an amateur with a 3-0 record. As reported by ESPN, Hardy is now set to make his professional debut on UFC President Dana White’s highly acclaimed Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.
The former NFL player will reportedly face off against Brandon Sayles on the first episode of the series’ next season.
