UFC President Dana White once made headlines for kissing former women’s UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate during a media scrum. Now the UFC head is at it again.
Women’s UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas had an immediate rematch with former title holder Joann Jedrzejczyk over the weekend. Namajunas earned her title with a first round TKO victory over the formerly undefeated fighter back at UFC 217.
In their rematch, Namajunas earned a unanimous decision victory for her second victory over Jedrzejczyk. Speaking to media after the successful title defense, Namajunas received a surprise show of affection from the UFC President.
Dana White walked up behind Namajunas during the interview and kissed the fighter on the back of the head before walking away. White first made headlines for kissing a fighter when he excitedly kissed Miesha Tate on the cheek during a media scrum shortly after the fighter made weight for her next big match up.
White does not have a history of kissing male fighters, making the display of affection even more unexpected. Check out a video of the moment up above.
