In what is likely the biggest UFC rivalry in history, top UFC light-heavyweight fighters Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier have a storied past.
D.C., having gone unbeaten in his entire MMA career, eventually fought the sport’s then pound-for-pound king in Jon “Bones” Jones in 2015. It would go down as D.C.’s first pro loss.
Jones has only fought twice since that 2015 bout, and one of those two fights was a rematch against D.C., where Jones handed the champion his second career defeat.
Jones would go on to fail a drug test for performance enhancing drugs in the second bout, and that result was overturned to a no-contest.
With a third fight on the minds of everyone, Cormier reveals his shelf life for pursuing a third bout with Jones, and it’s not very long.
