Danis Gives Props to Conor, Following Win

Dillon Danis made his big mixed martial arts debut over the weekend. Now the fighter has taken to social media to share a message with UFC superstar Conor McGregor.

“Notorious” trains over at SBG Ireland. The former two-division UFC champion’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach is none other than Dillon Danis. While Danis first achieved attention from mixed martial arts fans for his relationship with the Irish native and his grappling history, the BJJ phenom had his shot inside the cage on Saturday.

On April 28, mixed martial arts promotion Bellator MMA was in Rosemont, Illinois for the highly anticipated fight card of Bellator 198. Featured on the night’s card, Danis went toe-to-toe with Kyle Walker.

Walker was 2-3 in his career leading up to the fight. Danis dealt the fighter his third consecutive submission loss within the first round of their match up.
