UFC superstar Conor McGregor caused chaos at the recent UFC 223 Media Day, ending in the injury of multiple UFC competitors. Now the fighter has made bail, thanks to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach and teammate Dillon Danis.
Conor McGregor reportedly used his company The Mac Life’s media credentials to sneak a group of his entourage backstage at the media day event. Entering a loading dock within the Barclay’s Center, the group attacked a bus filled with fighters set to compete on the UFC 223 card.
McGregor allegedly smashed a window of the bus with a loading dolly, causing the injury of several fighters. Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg have each been pulled from their fights for Saturday night due to injuries requiring medical attention.
McGregor has since been put in custody by local police and is now facing three misdemeanor charges of assault and a felony charge of criminal mischief. Having just completed his arraignment for the incident, Conor McGregor’s $50,000 bail has been paid by teammate Dillon Danis.
“Notorious” will be required to return for his next court date on June 14. Until then, McGregor has been permitted the ability to travel internationally.
