Eddie Alvarez: ‘I Beat Nate Diaz’s Friend Up In Front Of Him, And He Didn’t Do Anything’

Former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez has come forward to call out UFC superstar Nate Diaz. However, the fighter first offered some heated words concerning the Stockton native.

Eddie Alvarez faced off against Skrap Pack member Gilbert Melendez back at UFC 188. The former title holder ultimately earned a split decision victory over his opponent. Speaking to EsNews, as seen within the video below, Alvarez revealed that there was another fight that nearly broke out during the event.

Alvarez explained that Nate Diaz was cage side in support of his teammate, with Diaz and the former champion nearly entering a physical altercation during the event.

“I beat his friend up right in front of him, he was cage side and he still didn’t do sh*t about it.” Alvarez said. “If he wants to ever come back, I’m right here. He can come get this.”
