It would appear that Ashlee Evans-Smith may not be competing at the 125.8 pounds she initially weighed in at. Now the fighter is heavy enough to be a featherweight.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up for another stunning night of fights. This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is preparing for the highly anticipated fight card of UFC 223.
Competing on the night’s card, women’s UFC flyweight Bec Rawlings will be throwing down with Ashlee Evans-Smith. Evans-Smith recently took to the internet to share a video of herself checking her weight just hours before her big fight against the Australian native.
Stepping on the scale, Evans-Smith weighed in at a staggering 145 pounds, a total 14.2 pounds heavier than her official weight for the match. UFC 223 goes down Saturday night, April 7, inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The event’s main card will be featured live on pay-per-view.
