Jon Jones: ‘McGregor’s Behavior Pretty Standard For A UFC Champion’

UFC superstar Conor McGregor has been making headlines as of later for an incident that occurred backstage of the Barclays Center on Thursday, April 5. Now the internet’s Jon Jones has decided to provide his thoughts on the matter.

“Notorious” decided to make his presence known at the UFC 223 Media Day event on Thursday. Appearing backstage with a group of people, McGregor and his entourage allegedly attacked a bus filled with fighters set to compete on Saturday’s UFC 223 fight card.

Multiple fighters were injured in the fracas, ultimately forcing Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg to pull out of their scheduled bouts for UFC 223. McGregor would go on to turn himself in to local police.

“Notorious” is now facing three misdemeanor charges of assault and a felony charge of criminal mischief. McGregor made his $50,000 bail and is now set to return to court on June 14.

Taking to Twitter, video game developer Jon Jones, often confused with former UFC champion Jon Jones over the social media platform due to his Twitter handle, has decided to let his thoughts be known.
