Justin Gaethje Gets Knocked Out On FOX, Then Ridiculed On Twitter By Rival

UFC lightweights Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier put on a fight of the year contender over the weekend. Now Gaethje is getting some heat from one of his rivals following the tough defeat.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship hosted the highly anticipated fight card for UFC on FOX 29 on Saturday, April 14. The event took place inside the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

Headlining the night’s card, Gaethje and Poirier entered an octagon war for division dominance. In the end, Poirier earned a fourth round TKO victory over his opponent.

Following the fight, fellow UFC lightweight James Vick decided to offer a heated criticism over Twitter. “Justin gaethje has really good defense.. said no one ever,” the fighter stated.

Vick and Gaethje have been going at it over social media for some time now. Gaethje even recently trash-talked Vick in an interview with MMA Junkie.

“I could be fighting some turd like James Vick, f**king crybaby that never shuts up.” Gaethje said.

“That dude needs to get slapped.” The fighter continued. “He called me a b**ch on the internet, so when I do see him I’m going to slap the f**k out of him. I’m not happy with him.”
