UFC lightweight Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje put on an absolute octagon war on Saturday night, leading to a stunning victory for Poirier. Following Poirier’s call out of newly crowned UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, “The Eagle” has decided to provide a response.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted the highly anticipated fight card of UFC on FOX 29 inside the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona. Headlining the night’s event, Poirier and Gaethje went toe-to-toe for division dominance.
Following a fight of the year contender performance, Poirier managed to finish his opponent for a TKO victory in the fourth round. Shortly after, Poirier called out Khabib Nurmagomedov for a title fight.
Taking to Twitter, Nurmagomedov has decided to provide a response to the UFC on FOX 29 main event.
