Laying about in his massive Dublin estate, UFC superstar Conor McGregor is probably grinning ear to ear over controversial fighter Colby Covington’s latest tirade on Khabib Nurmagomedov. Now the fighter’s statement is taking the internet by storm.
Newly crowned UFC lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov has become a target for conversation as of late. The fighter earned the undisputed title be putting on a dominant performance over Al Iaquinta, a fighter formerly not in the top ten rankings of the division.
As seen in the video above, when asked if Nurmagomedov could prove just as dominant in the welterweight division, UFC welterweight Colby Covington responded “I think it works for the little lightweight division, but that sh*t doesn’t fly in welterweight. You’ve got a real all American division wrestler, not some Sambo dudes. If he comes up to welterweight, he’s going to get his head dunked and balls put on his forehead just like the rest of them.”
