Undefeated UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov reached a life long dream over the weekend. The mixed martial arts phenom earned a UFC championship belt. Now a video of the fighter’s welcome home party is making its way around the internet.
“The Eagle” went toe-to-toe with Al Iaquinta on Saturday night, April 7, for the main event of UFC 223. The highly anticipated fight card took place inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, offering fight fans the stunning series of match ups live on pay-per-view around the world.
Iaquinta and Nurmagomedov ultimately went the distance, with “The Eagle” earning a unanimous decision victory over his opponent. Going back home to Dagestan the new undisputed UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov received a massive welcome from his family and fight fans.
