The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up to put on another exciting night of fights. With the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion now only a day away from putting on its next big fight card, the time has come to take a look at the ceremonial weigh-ins.
This time around, the UFC is heading to Glendale, Arizona to host the highly anticipated fight card of UFC on FOX 29. The event will take place inside the Gila River Arena on Saturday, April 14, and is set to feature a series of exciting match ups.
In the night’s main event, UFC lightweight warriors Justin Gaethje will be facing off against Dustin Poirier in an octagon battle for division dominance. Meanwhile, the co-headliner for the evening will see MMA veteran Carlos Condit take on Alex Oliveira.
The official weigh-ins went down on Friday, April 13, with each competitor making weight for the event. Now the night’s fighters will have one final chance to mean mug each other at today’s ceremonial weigh-ins before finally meeting inside the octagon throw down.
