Matt Brown Breaks His Silence, Issues Statement After Pulling Out Of Condit Fight

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently lost a highly profile fight for one of the promotion’s upcoming fight cards. Now mixed martial arts veteran Matt Brown has come forward with a statement following his co-main event fight removal.

UFC on FOX 29 is set to go down in Glendale, Arizona on April 14. The highly anticipated fight card is set to feature a series of interesting match ups. However, the promotion is now on the lookout for a new opponent to fill in the night’s co-headliner.

Initially, MMA veterans Carlos Condit and Matt Brown were set to throw down for the Glendale crowd. With both fighters having rich histories in putting on brutal octagon wars, the fight certainly would have been one for the books.

However, Brown has since been pulled from the event after suffering an injury. The fighter reportedly tore his ACL, a debilitating injury that has sidelined countless athletes.
