Michelle Waterson Delivers With Impressive Performance Over Casey | UFC Results

Fight fans are making their way to the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona today, April 14, for the latest fight card from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The highly anticipated fight card of UFC on FOX 29 is going down for the Glendale crowd, offering a series of exciting fights.

Kicking off the night’s main card, women’s UFC strawweight Michelle Waterson is throwing down with Cortney Casey for the Glendale crowd. Check out the UFC results below.

The first round kicked off at a methodical pace. Waterson and Casey spent the first minutes working out each other’s range and timing. However, Casey began to let her hands go with three minutes left on the clock.

Casey managed to get her opponent on the canvas and locked in an armbar attempt. However, the fighter was unable to get a finish. This was seemingly a dominant round for Casey.

Casey fired off without hesitation in the second round, quickly pouring on the pressure with her striking. However, Waterson managed to get a takedown halfway through the round.

The fighter then locked in an armbar attempt on Waterson, but failed to get the finish. Completing the round on her feet, Waterson slammed Casey with a front kick to the face that sent her opponent reeling.

The final round fired off with a blast. Casey and Waterson entered a striking exchange. However, Casey managed to get her opponent to the canvas. There, Casey managed to lock in another armbar attempt. Once again, Waterson managed to escape the position.

This one has gone the distance.
