Fomrer women’s UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has successfully transitioned into the world of professional wrestling. Following the trailblazing mixed martial artist’s recent WrestleMania debut, it would appear that Rousey has won the favor of many of her formerly agitated fight fans.
Ronda Rousey has not competed inside the octagon since going on a two fighting losing streak back in 2016. Rousey’s losses and the fighter’s lack of interest in facing off inside the octagon anytime soon has seemingly garnered some negative feedback from fight fans over the years.
That being said, the former UFC title holder put on a stunning performance at WrestleMania 34 over on Sunday night, April 8. The Judoka Olympian joined forces with Kurt Angle for a tag team match up against power couple Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
Rousey pummeled Triple H with her striking, before submitting McMahon with an arm snapping armbar. Now fight fans have taken to the Underground forums to let the world know what they thought of Rousey’s latest performance.
The Underground has quickly earned the title of the world’s greatest MMA forum, as MMA notables such as UFC President Dana White several UFC fighters have been long standing members of the forum. As such, the forum has become a barometer for how UFC fans are seemingly feeling about things within the MMA world.
Following Ronda Rousey’s recent WrestleMania performance, it would appear that fans that once ridiculed the fighter have come to praise her as a professional wrestler.
