It would appear that UFC superstar Nate Diaz and former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson are not terribly pleased with Khabib Nurmagomedov’s recent title fight performance. Now the two fighters have taken to social media to let their thoughts be known.
Undefeated UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov went toe-to-toe with Al Iaquinta on Saturday, April 7, for the undisputed UFC lightweight title. In the end, “The Eagle” put on a dominant performance over his opponent.
The two mixed martial artists battled it out for the main event of UFC 223. There inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Nurmagomedov and Iaquinta went to war within the octagon.
The title fight ultimately went the distance, with Nurmagomedov earning a unanimous decision victory over his opponent. That being said, it would appear that Nate Diaz and Tony Ferguson were not too impressed with the fighter’s title earning performance.
