Ronda Rousey Releases Statement After Being Shamed By WWE For Her UFC Losses

Former women’s UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has put on as storied career within the sport of mixed martial arts. That being said, things got heated on Monday Night Raw when Stephanie McMahon decided to bring up the former title holder’s two fight losing streak.

Rousey has only suffered two losses in her mixed martial arts career, a brutal title ending knockout loss to Holly Holm and a first round finish defeat to now reigning champion Amanda Nunes. Since then, Rousey has made the transition into the world of professional wrestling.

Now a WWE superstar, Rousey is set to make her WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania 34. The trailblazing mixed martial artist will be teaming up with Kurt Angle for a tag team match up against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

On the latest edition of Monday Night Raw, the four professional wrestlers sat down for an intense Q&A. During the incident, McMahon dredged up Rousey’s tough losses inside the octagon, referencing “how you take a loss.” The moment can be seen within the video above.

Rousey has now taken to social media to blast out her response to the statement. Over Instagram, the Judo Olympian said:

“Take all the cheap shots you want @stephaniemcmahon –
I can take it. Along with your left See you Sunday. #AngleRousey”

WrestleMania 34 goes down April 8 inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
