Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is healing up from a debilitating injury to his leg. Now a video of the fighter having his staples taken out is making its way around the internet.
Tony Ferguson was initially set to face off against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 223. The two mixed martial artists were locked in to battle it out for the undisputed lightweight title.
However, “El Cucuy” injured himself just six days before the fight. The competitor tripped over a cable during a media event, tearing his LCL nearly off of his bone.
Ferguson has since underwent surgery for the injury and is quickly recovering. Most recently, the fighter offered a video of himself getting the staples taken out to the internet.
