The Moment Khabib And Max Came Face-To-Face Ahead Of UFC 223, Caught By UFC Cameras

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up to put on another stunning night of fights. Following the recent change in the main event of UFC 223’s highly anticipated fight card, fight fans can now get a look at the first time Khabib Nurmagomedov and Max Holloway came face to face since their fight’s announcement.

UFC 223 is set to go down April 7 inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. However, the live pay-per-view event just experienced a change up in the night’s headliner.

Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov were initially set to throw down for the undisputed lightweight title. But, Ferguson has since suffered an injury that has forced the fighter out of the match up.

UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway stepped up on just six days notice to accept an offer to take Ferguson’s place. Now Holloway will be taking on Nurmagomedov for the lightweight title at UFC 223.

In the video above, fight fans can see Nurmagomedov and Holloway meeting face to face after a quick workout in the same gym. The fighter’s shake hands and offer each other a moment of respect before going their separate ways.
