The UFC Just Had Another Bad Incident With A Fighter Bus, This Time In Arizona

It would appear that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have once again suffered an issue with one of the promotion’s buses. This time, the issue occurred in Arizona.

Former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor is facing misdemeanor and felony charges for a fracas that took place inside the Barclays Center on April 5. A large entourage and “Notorious” allegedly attacked a bus filled with UFC fighters set to compete at UFC 223.

The incident ended in the injury of multiple individuals, including fighters Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg. An estimated $8,000 in damages was reportedly caused to the bus from the fracas.

The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion was in Glendale, Arizona on Saturday, April 14, for UFC on FOX 29. In the post fight show, UFC President Dana White revealed that a bus from the Glendale card recently broke down.

“Our buses are cursed.” White stated. “This week one of our fighter buses broke down”
