UFC Denies Access To Team McGregor, Places Posters Everywhere

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has seemingly decided to bar access to UFC 223 from some of SBG Ireland’s notables following the incident at the recent UFC 223 Media Day.

UFC megastar Conor McGregor and a large group of the fighter’s entourage made a surprise appearance at the Barclays Center in Thursday, April 5, during the recent UFC 223 Media Day event. The group made their way backstage and allegedly attacked a bus filled with UFC fighters set to compete on the UFC 223 card.

Several fighters were injured during the fracas, leading to multiple fight cancellations for Saturday’s big event. Conor McGregor would ultimately turn himself in to local police and face charges of misdemeanor assault and a felony charge of criminal mischief.

Now UFC lightweight Olivier Aubin has come forward over Twitter to reveal that a poster claiming “Access Denied” has been posted around the Barclays Center ahead of today’s UFC 223 event. While Conor McGregor has been issued a protection order in the favor of multiple fighters following the incident, it would appear that the UFC is looking to bar UFC 223 from several members of SBG Ireland.

McGregor’s head coach John Kavanagh, teammate Artem Lobov and striking coach Owen Roddy are among those issued on the poster. Check it out below:
