UFC Fighters React In Droves To Conor McGregor’s Attack On UFC 223

UFC superstar Conor McGregor crashed the recent UFC 223 Media Day event, causing a fracas that has left multiple fighters unable to compete on Saturday night. Now fighters have come forward over social media to let their thoughts concerning the recent incident be known.

UFC 223 is set to go down Saturday night, April 7, inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. On Thursday, the UFC visited the Barclays Center for the UFC 223 Media Day.

Conor McGregor decided to make his presence known shortly after the event, reportedly sneaking in a large group of his entourage backstage through credentialed media members of his company The Mac Life. A bus filled with fighters competing in the red corner on Saturday was sitting inside a parking garage backstage, when McGregor and his crew payed a visit.

The bus was attacked by the group, with McGregor allegedly hurling a loading dolly into a window of the bus. Multiple fighters were injured from the incident, including Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg. Both fighters have since been pulled from their match ups.
