UFC Fighters React To Khabib vs. Ferguson Being Cancelled On Six Days Notice

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has experienced a sudden change in the headliner for UFC 223’s upcoming card. Now fighters are coming forward over social media to let their thoughts on the situation be known.

UFC 223 is set to go down April 7 inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The highly anticipated fight card will be featured live on pay-per-view.

The night’s headliner was set to see UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson face off against tough division contender Khabib Nurmagomedov. However, the fight has since been cancelled.

Ferguson suffered a torn LCL after tripping over a cable at a recent media event, forcing the fighter off of the card. Now Nurmagomedov is set to face off against UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway for the UFC lightweight title.
