Upcoming UFC Card Just Lost Its Main and Co-Main Event

It would appear that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has suffered two big losses to one of the promotion’s upcoming fight cards. This time around, the main event and co-headliner for UFC Fight Night 129 have been removed.

UFC Fight Night 129 is set to go down May 19 in Santiago, Chile. Santiago Ponzinibbio was initially set to face off against Kamaru Usman in the night’s main event, with Volkan Oezdemir and Mauricio Rua set to throw down in the co-headliner.

However, both fights have reportedly been removed from the fight card. It has been made official that Rua and Oezdemir have been moved from the card. Now Combate has reported that Usman and Ponzinibbio are now longer set to compete, as Ponzinibbio injured his hand in training.
