Earlier this week top UFC flyweight fighter Ray Borg revealed that his newborn son would need brain surgery.
Then, the UFC fighter would go on to post that the surgery was a success.
Now, Ray has retracted the early success story on his son, as Doctors have now confirmed that the newborn baby boy will need a second surgery, as the first one did not take.
Ray Borg broke the news of his son’s health on twitter earlier this week with a statement:

Then after the surgery, Ray sent out a positive update, before things took another bad turn.
Thank you to everyone for their positive thoughts and prayers during this time and much thank you to the Children’s hospital of Colorado and all of their staff. Anthony’s surgery was a success.

And now here’s the latest from the UFC fighter, explaining the unfortunate new turn:
Unfortunately Anthony needs to go back into surgery. The shunt was placed in a spot of his brain that just doesn’t quite work for him. Due to the high possibility of failure of the shunt the doctor ordered to have him back in the operating room for replacement of the shunt. ??
