UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier is gearing up for the biggest fight of his career. With that in mind, a video of the mixed martial arts phenom grappling with the father of teammate Khabib Nurmagomedov is now making its way around the internet.
Daniel Cormier is moving up in weight to challenge reigning UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic for his title. The two fighters will face off at UFC 226.
The highly anticipated pay-per-view will go down live July 7 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
In the video above, Cormier can be seen taking some time out of his training to grapple with Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father. Nurmagomedov and Cormier are both teammates at American Kickboxing Academy, creating an interesting dynamic for Cormier’s friendly tussle on the canvas.
