Despite the stacked nature of this weekend’s UFC 223 event, the biggest news leading up to fight night is the very public scuffle between UFC Russian fighters Artem Lobov and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Now, in the video above, UFC president Dana White reacts to the incident, and gives an update on the status of Artem Lobov.
The UFC boss confirms that Lobov was receiving threatening phone calls after the incident, forcing him to move out of the UFC’s host hotel.
Dana also confirmed that he needs to have a talk with the fighters to get to the bottom of the drama.
Both Khabib and Lobov fight on this weekend’s UFC 223 fight card.
Despite both being from Russia, they’re rivals in MMA, Lobov hailing from Conor McGregor’s SBG Ireland camp.
